Since 2013, our dedicated UBC Concrete Canoe members have come together annually to design, construct, and race a full-size (20ft) concrete canoe against universities across North America.

Hands-On Experience
Within Sub-teams, we design an innovative canoe hulls and concrete mixes using advanced materials that’s both lightweight and durable.
Students work in the lab to test out designs and build the final canoe.
Bringing Theory To Life
We blend classroom knowledge with real-world experience by designing our canoes and testing them in races ourselves. Keep an eye out for us on the open water!
